Shops At Riverside Village
The Shops at Riverside Village bring sleek Scandinavian architecture to the Pantops Mountain area of Charlottesville with triplet mixed-use buildings, containing both retail and apartment units. This project required a high level of coordination and communication between all project team members, as each building was phased and completed in succession. This intricate phasing saved owners’ money and optimized a thinly stretched subcontractor market. The apartments offer a wealth of natural light from large living room windows, glass sliding doors, and private patios. High-end kitchen finishes include quartz countertops island with bar seating, stainless steel appliances, and designer oak cabinetry. The bedrooms feature plush carpeting, adjustable casement windows, and spacious closets. Each unit is complete with a washer and dryer, tub showers, stainless steel sinks, and sleek plank hardwood flooring. Beneath the apartments, a thriving community of retail tenants has leased the spaces, including Grit Coffee, AKT Fitness, and River Birch Restaurant.
