Rolkin Road Retail Center is a small strip mall located at the corner of Rolkin Road and Highway 250 and includes anchor tenants Chipotle and Starbucks. This is a 10,000 SF shopping center located in a convenient space allowing easy access to Charlottesville’s consumers. The tenant infrastructure needs had to be met while the building was still being designed causing some challenges throughout the project. During the course of development, there was a harsh winter and the side contractor went out of business adding to the difficulties our team faced. This project is an impressive example of how Martin Horn was able to push ahead and complete construction through tough delays.
