The Corner Shops at Rio Road consisted of two distinct projects carried out on a tight site at one of Charlottesville's busiest intersections. We performed extensive site work to solve drainage problems and built 15,000 sf of new retail and restaurant space. In addition, we improved the site and renovated the façade of an existing Wachovia Bank. Together, the two projects now form one of Charlottesville’s most attractive new retail centers.
