The Charlottesville Office Building is Martin Horn's third project for the same owner on a congested downtown corner. The 42,500 sf building consumes 90% of the available footprint—but our expertise in working on tight sites meant that construction did not disrupt the surrounding businesses.
After finishing the site work and shell, we were hired by individual companies for several unusual tenant fitouts. These included OpenSpace—a high-tech co-working and conferencing space. We worked closely with the owners through several rounds of value engineering and re-designs to create a cutting edge space on a tight budget.
